Superman festival T-Shirt 2004

Each year the town of Metropolis, Illinois has a Superman celebration with special guests like Noel Neill (aka Lois Lane from the 50′s TV show) and they produce a special t-shirt. This one is from the 2004 celebration.

Supes croaked in 1992

Here’s a vintage t-shirt showing the Death of Superman from 1992.

The shirt shows the rest of the DC heroes carrying Superman out in a coffin.

The back of the t-shirt says, “Where were you when Superman died?”

When DC Comics killed off Superman back in 1992, they sold millions and millions of copies of the comic because every person thought that “the Death of Superman”vwould be worth a fortune in the future… however the comic today is pretty much worthless simply because they printed million of copies of it. Not to mention that they brought Supes back to life.
